Planet Rewild

Rewild your senses

Planet Rewild crafts 360° films and immersive VR experiences designed not just to show you the natural world, but to invite you in, help you reawaken your senses and remember your own wild place within it.

Born from muddy boots, foggy lenses, and unexpected animal encounters – Planet Rewild is what happens when an artist and field ecologist refuses to keep the wild at arm’s length.

As a field-based ecological art studio, we weave together exploration, environmental science, and immersive media to reveal how species and sensory worlds interconnect. Through 360° VR filmmaking, spatial sound and immersive environments, we invite you to discover new ways of seeing and feeling the wild - designed to wake up your senses and stir your curiosity

About

Connected Landscapes: The Okavango Delta in VR

Born from a conservation-led research expedition to the Okavango Delta in Botswana, this project combines immersive 360° film with ecological fieldwork to explore how wildlife move across connected landscapes.

Filmed during field research alongside scientists from Elephants for Africa and the Botswana Predator Conservation Trust, the project captures wild elephants, African painted dogs and other keystone species within one of the world’s most biodiverse wetland ecosystems. The experience explores how immersive storytelling can teleport audiences into the wild.

Immersive Nature Breathers

Step into serenity. Immersive Nature Breathers are short, 360° VR nature films designed for wellness, relaxation, and sensory restoration.

Shot in ancient forests around the world, these calming experiences support stress relief, focus, and emotional reset - perfect for high-pressure spaces and for bringing in creative energy like conferences, corporate events, or dedicated wellness zones.

Rooted in the science of virtual forest bathing and enhanced with authentic soundscapes and the potential for multi-sensory integration.

Bring the forest to your space.

Find your calm, re-energize.

Indigenous Voices: The Music of the Forest

We’re honoured to collaborate with Arthur Borman, a master of the Pratuokng - a bamboo zither passed down through generations of the Bidayuh community in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Arthur’s music is the heartbeat of the rainforest: alive, grounding, and filled with stories. His recordings for our Planet Rewild VR forest films carry the spirit of the land itself. This collaboration is not only about sound, but about honouring a culture whose roots are inseparable from the forest.

The rainforests of Sarawak are among the most biodiverse on Earth. 🌏

For the Bidayuh, they are home, history, and spirit.

Arthur’s dedication to keeping the Pratuokng alive is deeply inspiring. A reminder that nature speaks in many languages: bird calls, rushing rivers, bamboo strings… and when we listen, we feel more connected.

This marks our first collaboration with an Indigenous artist, and what an honour it is. Together, we’re creating immersive VR films that bring people closer to the wild, celebrate cultural wisdom, and support the conservation of vital landscapes.

"To be without the forest is to be without roots." Richard Mabey

Thank you, Arthur, for your spirit, generosity, and music. The forest sings through you. 🎶

Field capture: Cambodia
Species: Siamese crocodile (Critically Endangered)
Partner:
Fauna & Flora International

Siamese crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis), critically endangered species in conservation programme in Cambodia.

An ancient apex predator, once thought extinct, slowly returning to Cambodia’s rivers.

Field capture from an early-stage immersive 360° shoot exploring how VR can support conservation storytelling and species recovery.

Recent estimates suggest only 250–1,000 Siamese crocodiles remain in the wild, with the largest surviving population in Cambodia.

Through a long-term conservation programme led by Fauna & Flora International and partners, more than 100 crocodiles have already been reintroduced into protected habitats, helping rebuild wild populations.

This work forms part of a developing immersive series focused on rewilding and species restoration around the world.

Field Expeditions

Following paw prints, scat, scent, and fur.
Working with the knowledge of those who live closest to the land.

We follow the threads that connect species, landscapes, and people. Our cameras, microphones, and sketchbooks travel alongside scientists and trackers to capture the pulse of living systems. From the humid heat of the rainforest to the silence of the Himalayas, we place ourselves quietly inside the worlds animals already know.

The Craft

Cameras, scanners, maps & books carried across mountain passes.
Microphones listening to the darkness of the forests.
Solar-powered rigs placed quietly in the landscape along animal trails.

In the studio:
Material transformation. We weave field data into immersive film, spatial audio, and installations—translating the raw energy of the wild into sensory experiences.

Where the World Breathes
A VR 360 Film
An immersive experience that invites you to slow down, breathe, and reawaken your connection to the wild world.
Filmed on location in remote breathtaking landscapes, this journey merges ecology, and presence.
It brings you intimately into places few people have ever seen, yet all are inherently part of.

"It’s a portal. A space to listen, to feel, and to remember that we are not separate from nature, but part of its living rhythm."

“Being at the same eye level as that animal, you feel like you're a part of that landscape and you're part of the animal's world.”

Our work brings people face-to-face with the beauty and fragility of the wild – offering new ways of seeing, and feeling, the natural world.
